NBCU

For years, brands have been trying to engage Americans in Premier League soccer, but all attempts have failed. So, when NBC Sports Network bought the rights to air the Premier League, attracting eyeballs to ‘the other football’, was an enormous challenge.  We needed a new approach.
 
With a limited budget, Maxus created a creative and strategic plan, anchored in consumer insight, encouraging people to “Keep Calm and Pick a Side”.  Pick a side they did. Viewership was up 91% in the first 2 weeks over the prior year’s viewership on ESPN, ESPN2 and Fox Soccer

UPS

UPS challenged Maxus to help them become more than just a shipping company, and to maximize their revenue among their target of senior decision makers at small and midsize businesses. 

In a highly competitive marketplace, UPS needed to break through, and truly matter, to this time starved audience. 

Maxus analyzed search query, social monitoring, client and proprietary research to unearth target motivations for selecting a shipping company. These insights led Maxus to develop a communications strategy that positioned UPS as a credible, yet accessible and innovative, logistics company.

Panera

Panera Bread has revolutionized the casual dining category during that short spate of time. For the first nine years, they did not advertise, relying on word-of-mouth as their de facto marketing. But in their increasingly mature markets, WOM reached its natural limits, and Panera was forced to look for a new source of growth: Advertising. 

Maxus has helped Panera advertise successfully, however in 2014 Panera started losing ground to the increasing competition. We devised a moble-centric media plan to reinvigorate current customer's love to Panera and entice new customers to try Panera. The results were astounding. Watch the video to see more.

Arm & Hammer: Clump & Seal

Arm & Hammer developed a revolutionary new cat litter and needed a media plan that would match the high quality and innovation of the product. Maxus took the challenge head on, creating an integrated campaign that included cat owner testimonials from customers and celebrities alike. 
 
Through the use of our propriety tools, we were able to find and efficiently target cat owners across the US. The multi-platform campaign and content strategy was a huge success. Arm & hammer moved up in the category, 5 star reviews poured in and sales goals were surpassed. 

Enjoy Illinois: Native Advertising

Sometimes you’re up against the big guys, with massive ad budgets and resources. The Illinois Board of Tourism felt like they didn’t have a chance in the tourism category, but with Maxus on their side, we came up with a media plan that evened the playing field. 
 
Our solution: create a native ad campaign showcasing all Illinois has to offer and distribute it where travelers would be engaging online. We knocked it out of the park.  Watch the video to see more.
